Mind & Body Spring Clean(s)ing

Spring is officially here and hopefully my favourite flowers TULIPS will be in full bloom very soon! Although it's not completely feeling like it yet, I can feel that warmer weather, longer days, sandals, dresses and lots of sunshine are just around the corner. Spring is the perfect time to refresh and rejuvenate not only your home but also yourself....in both mind and body. 

I have decided to do a bit of mind & body spring clean(s)ing. I'm decluttering from the inside out. For the next 6 weeks, I will be removing all meat and poultry products from my diet and adhering to a mainly plant-based diet with the exception of some foods such as bone broth, fish, eggs, goat cheese, sheep's milk yogurt. Keep in mind that I don't eat processed foods and I really try to avoid any refined sugar foods so of course I won't be eating these either. I will also be working out 5 times per week and meditating daily. This really isn't a far stretch from my regular day-to-day lifestyle but I love the idea of having daily intentions and challenges. From my heart, I'm really feeling an overwhelming urge to do this and cleanse my soul...body, mind and spirit. 

I can't wait to share my 6-week clean(s)ing journey with you..it started on Monday March 28th by the way. ;) I will be sharing lots of amazing vegetarian and vegan meals, snacks and recipes, giving you workout tips and inspiring you with zen quotes and meditation tips. And most importantly, I will also be sharing some of the reasons why I felt the need to do this. I'm so excited for you to join me on this beautiful journey to a clear mind, open heart and refreshed body. 


To keep the body in GOOD HEALTH is a duty...
